Introduction​

We rolled out a minor patch for our shipping software in production, PIYOVI version v25.02.02, on March 17th, 2025.

1. Shipment Rating Process​

We have enhanced the freight shopping process to improve usability and efficiency. Previously, the system waited for all carriers to return their rates before displaying them to the user. However, we identified that while some carriers provide rates almost instantly, others take longer to respond.

To optimize this process, we have introduced an Instant Data Sync process. Now, rates will be presented as they are received from carriers, rather than waiting for all responses. A new Carrier Count Badge has been added to display the total number of carriers presented with rates. This ensures users can access available rates faster and improve overall operational efficiency. The system will continue updating and organizing rates dynamically as more carrier responses comes in.

Furthermore, we have introduced the ability to group service level rates by Account and Carrier, providing better organization and improved rate comparison for users.
